Directions: 
Head south on I-35
If you’re coming from the north, continue southbound on I-35.
Take Exit 92 for US-54 W / US-400 W toward El Dorado
After traveling for about 50 miles, take Exit 92 to merge onto US-54 W / US-400 W toward El Dorado.
Continue on US-54 W
Stay on US-54 W for about 6 miles.
Turn left onto Bluestem Point Rd
Once you reach the intersection of Bluestem Point Rd, turn left (heading south).
Arrive at 4600 Bluestem Point Rd
Continue on Bluestem Point Rd for about 1 mile. Your destination will be on the right at 4600 Bluestem Point Rd.

Arts & Science

There will be two competitions this year!

  1. Valor Competition – Create a piece within the event theme of “Mongols vs. Rus” -OR- Vatavia-themed (as the hosting group). Judging for this one will be Populace Choice. The winner will win a scroll and be dubbed the Valor Champion!
  2. Mistress Aia’s Fandom Competition – From the beginning, SCA and fandom have had a long, entwined history—let’s celebrate it! Bring your fandom creative anachronisms to Valor (5/22-23)! Your project can depict a fandom aspect via SCA methods, change an aspect of fandom to work for our game, etc—creativity is the goal.

Bardic

  1. Valor Bardic Competition – Entertain the Royals with any performance you deem fit! The Royals will cast the votes and determine the Valor Bardic Champion!
  2.  Valor Youth Bardic – Open to any youths under 16. Contact HL Avigail for details.

Armored Combat

  1. Armored Valor Tourney
    1. This year will be in line with traditional Valor rules. Meaning, bastard swords only no great swords. Thrusting tips will be allowed.
  2. Guardians Valor Tourney
    1. Bring your best. Must be a prior Valor Champion or sponsored by a prior champion.
  3. Man at Arms and Fyrd Torchlight Tourney
    1. Combatants bring your best! Spectators bring your gambling bag! Open to all unranked fighters and Frydman. No GoA and above fighters can participate. Exact format will depend on number of entrants.
  4. Melees
    1. Various melees.

Cut and Thrust

  1. C&T Valor Tourney
    1. Longsword only tourney to become the Valor Champion!
  2. Bring your best Bear Pit
    1. It’s a bear pit. You’ll have fun.
  3. Melees
    1. It’s melees. Stab.
